ESSAY CONTEST ENTRIES SOUGHT ABOUT LITERACY

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to submit essays in the 1997 Letters About Literature essay contest sponsored by the Missouri and National Center for the Book and Read magazine.

Students wishing to enter should write a personal letter to an author, past or present, explaining how his or her book influenced their lives or changed their way of thinking.

Entries must be accompanied by a submission coupon, which may be requested from the Missouri Center for the Book, 600 W. Main, Jefferson City, Missouri.
