The Southeast Missourian asked first-graders at Primary Annex what costumes they will be wearing for Halloween.

Ross Wiginton: "I have a jump suit to look like a Navy boatman. It has USA and American flag patches on it."

Elizabeth Bierer: "I'll dress as Esmerelda. She's a gypsy in the Hunchback of Notre Dame."

Daniel Johnson: "I'll be a wizard. I going to use my mom's graduation gown. She'll make me a wizard hat, and I'll have a wand."

Kelsey Bohnert: "I'm going to be a bride. I'll wear a dress and a veil."

Zach Mirly: "I'm going to be a black cat. My mom's making a costume for me. I'll have whiskers and a tail."
