BUSINESS MEMO: A MAJOR SUPPLY AGREEMENT

D&K Wholesale Drug Inc., which will move its Cairo, Ill., distribution center to Cape Girardeau in December, has announced a major supply agreement with Anthem Prescription Management Inc.

D&K, headquartered in St. Louis, has been selected as the primary pharmaceutical supplier for the mall service pharmacy program of Anthem, a mall service pharmacy and prescription management company based in Cincinnati.

Anthem's purchases will be supplied by D&K's Distribution Center at Lexington, Ky.

D&K is a full-service regional wholesale drug distributor supplying customers from facilities in Cairo, Lexington and Minneapolis. The company held a ground-breaking ceremony for its new 60,000-square-foot distribution center at Cape Girardeau recently. The new facility is expected to be ready Dec. 1.
