Drury Inns Inc. has opened a 131-room Drury Inn at Marion, Ill., at the Interstate 57 and Route 13 intersection.

The hotel, a five-story structure, was developed by Druco Inc., and is operated by Drury Inns Inc. Approximately 30 new jobs were created by its opening.

A new Drury Inn & Suites is also under construction at Springfield, Mo.

Drury Inns Inc. owns and operates more than 85 Drury Inn, Pear Tree Inn by Drury, Thrifty Inn, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express hotels in 14 states. Twenty-four of the properties are in Missouri, including Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Hayti, Poplar Bluff, St. Louis, Kansas City, Rolla, St. Joseph, Troy and Joplin.
