Play It Again Sports opened recently at 2140 Town Plaza Shopping Center.

The new business buys, sells, trades and consigns new and used sports equipment.

Lynn Mayfield is owner of the new business, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

A grand opening will be held Saturday.

Mary Bell Moore has purchased Paradise Express Floral Services at 614 Second St., in Scott City.

Moore has been a partner in the operation for more than two years.

The building will undergo a renovation.

Moore will expand the business' product line and will carry a larger line of wedding equipment, including wedding invitations.

Designers in the business are Judy Petermichel, Brenda Sanders and Doris Fehr

Riverside Recording has opened its newly designed and remodeled facility at 45 N. Main, in downtown Cape Girardeau.

The studio offers 32 tracks of digital and analog recording, said John Mills, who heads sales, marketing and talent.

"We feature 16 tracks of digital recording combined with 16 tracks of analog," Mills said. "This combination gives clients the best sound being recorded in the marketplace today."

Others involved in the operation include Tim Cagle, chief engineer and studio manager; Dean Winstead, comptroller and design; and Randy Green, engineer.

Alliance Siding Co. recently opened a new office in Cape Girardeau.

Alliance, 400 Broadway, Suite 521, provides vinyl siding installation and replacement of windows and doors. The company also replaces decks and guttering, along with general construction.

Craig Lamburth is president of the new company.

Jim Trickey is sales representative for the local office, which also employs three installers, with combined 15 years experience.

The new business is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Purified Air Products, distributor of Alpine Industries Living Air Purifiers, opened recently at 1108 Perry Ave,

The new company is owned and operated by Bryan and Cyndi Hupperts.

The Alpine purifier is designed to rid buildings of cigarette smoke, pet odors, molds, pollens and dust, Hupperts said.
