SUNSHINE CORNER HERB STORE OPENS DOWNTOWN

Sunshine Corner Herb Shop has opened in downtown Cape Girardeau.

The new retail business, 117 Themis, owned and operated by Teresa Pullum and Karma Campbell, features herbs and health foods, bath and body products, potpourri and candles.

The business is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pullum, a real estate agent here, has been previously involved in retailing. She operated a number of convenience stores in the Bootheel before moving to Cape Girardeau two years ago.

ANTIQUE STORE OPENS TUESDAY NEAR GORDONVILLE

Smothers Antiques & Gordonville Antique Mall will open Thursday.

The new retail business is located about five miles from Interstate 55, west on Route K.

The business, about a half-mile east of Gordonville, will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
