TWO TO SERVE ON ARTS PANELS

ST. LOUIS -- Two residents of Cape Girardeau have been chosen to serve on Missouri Arts Council citizen advisory panels.

The members of each panel review grant applications made to the council and make funding recommendations.

Beverly Strohmeyer, executive director of the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts, will serve on the Multi-Discipline Panel meeting Monday in Kirksville.

Daniel Straubel, a professor of English at Southeast Missouri State University, is a member of the Literature Panel meeting Wednesday in St. Louis.
