Mississippi (below Charleston): Muddy, 7' high; fishing slow for all species; closed to boating.

St. Francis (below Wappapello): High, all fishing slow.

Clearwater: Clear, 20' above normal; crappie fair on jigs and crankbaits using trolling method; carp fair on corn using pole and line; bass fair on spinnerbaits; bluegill fair on crickets and worms; catfish fair on nightcrawlers using juglines; all other fishing slow.

Duck Creek: Clear to dingy, full pool; crappie fair on jigs; bass good on live and artificial bait; bluegill fair to poor; vegetation 50 percent.

Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell tailwaters): Normal, muddy; all fishing slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): Muddy; black bass good on plastic worms, rattling jigs fished slow, also bright colored top water lures; crappie fair to poor using minnows over brush at various depths; catfish fair on shad sides and worms; white bass fair using Rooster Tails off points late evening.

Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): Muddy; white bass good; all other fishing slow.

Wappapello: Murky, 9' above normal; discharge 3020 CFS, 333.55 tailwater; catfish good on worms; bluegill good on crickets and worms; crappie fair on jigs and minnows; bass slow. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches to reduce the numbers of small stunted bass in Wappapello Lake. All beaches closed, People's Creek campground closed due to high water.

TROUT AREAS

Bennett Spring: Off color, slightly up; trout good.

Maramec Spring: Clear, normal; fishing good.

Montauk: Clear, normal; rainbow trout good in early a.m.

Roaring River: Clear, above normal; trout good.
