MUNY BAND TO PERFORM WEDNESDAY

The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will perform Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Capaha Park band shell.

The performance is free and features guest conductor Bill Lewis of Wimpy's Restaurant.

Guest performers are children from the Orff Workshop at Southeast Missouri State University.

The band will perform "The Klaxon March," "Declaration Overture," "Phantom Regiment," "Instant Concert," "Washington Post March," "Impressario" and "Music Man."

Neil Casey will conduct the band. Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs.
