What's the weather forecast today?

A quick glance at todays weather pet (at the top of this page) will both tell you about the weather and make you smile.

Readers are invited to submit photos of their family pets to be the Southeast Missourian's weather pet for a day. Clear photos (color or black and white) can be used. Be sure to include the pet's name, the name of the owner(s) and the town where you and your pet reside.

You can mail your weather pet photo to: Weather Pet, Southeast Missourian, P.O. Box 699, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702. Or you can drop off your weather pet photo at the Missourian office, 301 Broadway. Photos may be picked up at the reception desk of the Missourian after they are published.

Information about the pet and its owner(s) will be included with the weather information on Page 2A.On Mondays, the weather pet will be an adoptable pet from the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
