Vernon R. Meyr of Altenburg will be the next speaker at the Cape Girardeau Public Library's Third Thursday Travelogue series, scheduled Thursday at 7 p.m. Meyr will speak about the Inca Indian civilization and his travels through Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. He has bachelor's degrees in general studies and history and currently is pursuing a master's degree in history. His travels have taken him to 47 countries...

Meyr will speak about the Inca Indian civilization and his travels through Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. He has bachelor's degrees in general studies and history and currently is pursuing a master's degree in history. His travels have taken him to 47 countries.

Meyr will present his program on South America in the Hirsch Community Room. This program is free and open to the public, and accommodations for patrons with disabilities will be made upon request.
