Holden said the meeting is to "bring government back to the people" and to hear their views about state services and spending priorities.

Kasten will discuss issues facing the legislature. Holden and Kasten will accept questions.

While in Cape Girardeau, Holden will speak at noon to the Cape Girardeau West Rotary Club in the Tiffany Room at Holiday Inn. Rotary clubs from Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Marble Hill have been invited.

At 2:45 p.m., he will tour Magnetic Collectibles, a company that has used the treasurer's Missouri First linked deposit program to expand its operations in Cape Girardeau and Fredericktown. The company has added more than 20 new workers over the past year.
