Barbara Popp gave an interesting talk on her recent trip to Belarus, a commonwealth of the Indpendent States of Russia. She said that the Baptist church offers help and financial assistance to the people of Belarus. Prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain, Russian citizens were unable to meet for religious purposes.

Popp will be returning for a meeting in Belarus May 28 along with about 80 other Missouri women.

Hostesses for the meeting were Velma McNeely, Marie Haupt, Mable Sample and Ethel Baker. The meeting adjourned with the recitation of the Club Collect.

The next meeting will be held April 13.
