William E. Port of Cape Girardeau was installed as district governor of Rotary District 6090 at the regular meeting of the Cape Girardeau West Rotary Club recently.
Past district governor Stone Manes of Jackson and present district governor Everette Wood of Salem participated in the installation.
Port will be responsible for the 37 Rotary clubs in the district. District 6090 covers the southeastern part of Missouri from Arnold in the north to Steele in the south and west to West Plains.
A district conference is scheduled in Cape Girardeau April 26-28, 1996. It is anticipated that over 400 Rotarians and their spouses will attend.
