Two people were injured in an accident near Marble Hill.

Kevin Menz, 24, and his wife Jill, 30, both of Marble Hill, were injured in the two-vehicle accident.

The accident occurred at 2:20 p.m. Sunday on Highway 34 about five miles east of Marble Hill, said a Missouri Highway Patrol spokesman. A car driven by Kelly Barks, 19, of Marble HIll, crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Kevin Menz, the patrol said.

Kevin Menz received minor injuries and Jill Menz moderate injuries. Both were treated at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and released.
