PR Developers had the low bid of $332,621, ahead of Lappe Cement Finishing's $433,952 bid and Fronabarger Concreters' $453,374.

Work will begin on the 2,539-foot stretch within the next few weeks. There was some disagreement among Oak Hill Road residents two months ago as to who should finance paving the road or whether it should be paved.

Then there was controversy on how wide the road should be. The board finally voted to make it 30 feet wide.
