GORDONVILLE -- The Gordonville Volunteer Fire District Booster Club will hold a picnic Aug. 5 at the park. Gates open at 10 a.m.

There will be a horseshoe tournament, mud races and games. For information about the horseshoe tournament, call Don Henley at 243-0561. To register for the mud races, contact Keith or Trish Quade at 335-0761.

Attendance prizes will be given away. A dance will begin at 8 p.m. Music will be provided by the band Classified.

A $1 donation will be collected at the gate. Coolers will not be allowed in the park.
