Jack's Fork: Clear, normal; smallmouth bass, goggle-eye and bluegill fair on jigs and crayfish; all other fishing slow.

James River (below Hooten Town): Low, clear; catfish good on trotlines and worms; sunfish good on worms; black bass fair on plastic worms; all other fishing slow.

Meramec (below Eureka): Murky, low; catfish fair on live bait.

Missouri (below New Haven): Muddy, high; catfish good on trotlines using nightcrawlers and cut bait, especially shad; carp fair on natural bait.

Missouri (below Lexington): Falling, clearing; channel catfish good; flathead catfish good; bluegill good; all on live bait.

Missouri (below Iowa line): Murky, above normal; flathead catfish good using bluegill or goldfish; best fishing in rocks around wing dikes; carp fair using worms near the mouth of streams which empty into the river.

St. Francis (below Wappapello): Steady; channel catfish good on worms; all other fishing slow.

St. Francis (above Wappapello): Clear, low; black bass good on live bait and topwater lures; sunfish good on crickets and ultralight crankbaits; catfish good on worms.

LAKES:

Bull Shoals (East): Clear, 17' above normal; black bass fair on Gitzits, nightcrawlers and crayfish in deep water; catfish fair on live bait using limblines and trotlines; bluegill good on crickets and nightcrawlers; crappie fair on minnows in late p.m. under lights; all other fishing slow.

Bull Shoals (K-Dock): Clear, 15 1/2' above power pool; black bass fair on plastic worms early morning; white bass fair on top; bluegill good; all other fishing slow.

Busch Memorial Conservation Area Lake 33: Murky; catfish good on chicken livers; bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic worms; bluegill fair on worms; crappie fair on minnows and jigs; all other fishing slow.

Clearwater: Clear, normal; crappie fair on minnows using trolling method; black bass fair on plastic worms and jig and pig in late p.m.; bluegill fair on worms and crickets along bank; catfish fair on live bait using juglines; carp good on canned corn using rod and reel; white bass fair on minnows; all other fishing slow.

Duck Creek: Clear, normal; bass good on plastic worms, spinnerbaits and topwater lures; bluegill fair to good on crickets and worms; catfish fair on cut bait; crappie poor; vegetation 80 percent.

Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwaters): Normal, dingy; all fishing slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois): Clear; catfish good; black bass fair; crappie poor to fair; white bass poor.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): Clear; black bass fair late and early on plastic worms and buzzbaits; white bass fair to good trolling with spinnerbaits and fishing still with shad; crappie poor; catfish fair to good on prepared bait and shrimp; sunfish fair on worms.

Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): Murky; bluegill, catfish and white bass good; black bass fair; all other fishing slow.

Table Rock: Clear, 1/2' low; black bass good on topwater lures early & late on spinnerbaits; catfish good on nightcrawlers, prepared bait and worms on rod and reel and setlines; bluegill good on nightcrawlers, minnows and crickets; all other fishing slow.

Wappapello: Lake level normal; discharge 300 CFS, 321.55 tailwater; bluegill good on crickets; bass good on topwater lures and worms in early a.m. and late p.m.; crappie fair on minnows. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches (daily limit 6) to reduce the numbers of small bass in Wappapello Lake.

TROUT AREAS:

Bennett Spring: Clear, normal; trout good.

Maramec Spring: Clear, normal; fishing good.

Montauk: Clear, normal; rainbow trout good in early a.m.

Roaring River: Clear, normal; trout good.
