RIVERS: Castor (Above Zalma): Clear, low; bass good on artificial lures & topwater lures; all other species slow. Current: 57 degrees , clear, 1' below normal; all species fair on artificial & natural bait. Gasconade (Middle, near Waynesville): 70 degrees , slightly below normal, clear; black bass & goggle-eye good to excellent on spinner baits, crankbaits, top water lures & live baits; all other species good on all baits...

RIVERS:

Castor (Above Zalma): Clear, low; bass good on artificial lures & topwater lures; all other species slow.

Current: 57 degrees , clear, 1' below normal; all species fair on artificial & natural bait.

James River (Upper): 72 degrees , clear, low; sunfish good on crickets & worms.

Lamine: Normal level, clear; channel catfish good; other species fair.

Meramec (Below Eureka): 71 degrees , clear, low; bass fair on topwater lures; catfish fair on trotlines using live bait.

Meramec (Above Sullivan): 65 degrees , clear, normal; bass good on artificial lures; gigging good for suckers & drum.

Mississippi (Below Charleston): Clear, normal; catfish excellent on trotlines, juglines & pole & line using cut bait & worms; all other species fair.

St. Francis (Below Wappapello): 81 degrees , muddy, low; catfish fair on worms; all other species slow.

St. Francis (Above Wappapello): Clear, low; black bass good on artificial lures, topwater lures & jig & pig; all other species slow.

LAKES:

Bull Shoals: 66 degrees , clear, 4' low; all species fair. Busch Memorial Conservation Area Lake 33: 74 degrees , murky; catfish fair on chicken livers; bass fair on spinnerbaits & plastic worms; bluegill good on worms; crappie good on minnows & jigs; all other fishing slow.

Clearwater: 70 degrees , clear, 1 1/2' below normal; crappie fair on live bait; white bass fair on spinnerbaits & jigs, catfish good on minnows using juglines; bluegill good on crickets & worms along bank; all other species slow.

Duck Creek: 88 degrees , vegetation 90%; bass good on topwater lures from sunset to sunrise; all other species slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 77 degrees , normal, dingy; white bass good; black bass fair; all other species slow. If water stays down gigging will be good this weekend.

Lake of the Ozarks (Glaize): 75 degrees , clear; bluegill & catfish good; white bass & crappie fair; all other species slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois): 75 degrees , clear; catfish good; crappie slow to fair; white bass & black bass slow.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): 75 degrees , clear; black bass fair on spinnerbaits around structures; white bass excellent on shad deep & trolling deep running lures; crappie slow, catfish excellent on shad sides & live bait on pole lines; walleye excellent fishing shiners & nightcrawlers; sunfish excellent on worms.

Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): 76 degrees , clear; bluegill & catfish good; crappie & white bass fair, all other species slow.

Pomme de Terre: 70 degrees , clear, slightly below normal pool; black bass good around shorelines & drop offs using plastic worms, lizards & spinnerbaits, crappie good at 8-15' depths around docks & bridge pilings using minnows & jigs; walleye good around shallow sandy points using deep divers trolling; bluegill good around shorelines & docks using crickets & worms; catfish fair using stinkbaits on trotlines; muskie excellent.

Truman: 68 degrees , dingy, slightly below normal pool; catfish good along flats & in coves using cut bait; all other species slow.

Wappapello: Discharge at 190 CFS, 324.45 tailwater low; crappie good at 4-6' depths; bass good on spinnerbaits; all other species fair. NOTE: Anglers are encouraged to harvest bass under 11 inches (daily limit 6) to reduce the numbers of small bass in Wappapello Lake.

TROUT AREAS:

Bennett Spring: Clear, normal; trout good.

Maramec Spring: 57 degrees , clear, normal; fishing good.

Montauk: 56 degrees , clear, normal; rainbow trout good in early a.m.

Roaring River: Clear, normal; trout good.
