REBA, JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY TO PLAY AT SIU ARENA

Reba McEntire and John Michael Montgomery will entertain country music fans at the SIU Arena on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m.

McEntire, winner of four consecutive Country Music Association Awards for Female Vocalist of the year, and owner of 12 Gold Albums, is still producing number one singles. Her style of music includes soft- swinging ballads and hard-rocking bluesy tunes.

Montgomery, who was voted most likely to succeed by Country Music Magazine, has produced two number one albums. With his debut album "Life's A Dance", and most recent work "Kickin' It Up," Montgomery has made the ascent to number one.

His No. 1 hit single "Be My Baby Tonight", reveals his style of music.

Special guest and newcomer, John Berry, will start the show. His hit single is "What's In It For Me."
