A truck being loaded with supplies to help flood victims in Georgia will remain open today on the Schnuck's parking lot from noon until 7 p.m. Capt. Elmer Trapp of the Salvation Army, said the truck will be on the lot longer to give more people a chance to donate goods. A truck being loaded with supplies to help flood victims in Georgia will remain open today on the Schnuck's parking lot from noon until 7 p.m.

Capt. Elmer Trapp of the Salvation Army, said the truck will be on the lot longer to give more people a chance to donate goods. Trapp noted that the truck is about 40 percent full and they would like to have it completely full when it heads for Macon, Ga. Monday.

Items that are still needed include: paper goods, bleach, pine sol, buckets, mops, shovels, rakes, cleanser, soap powder, sponges, spray cleaners, disinfectant, rubber gloves, hoses, bathroom cleaners and glass cleaner.

Personal hygiene items that are needed include bottled water, canned and non-perishable foods.

Monetary donations can be sent to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 802, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702.
