Southeast Missouri State University has hired two new directors.

Robert J. Hetzel, residence hall director at the University of Northern Colorado, has been named director of residence life.

Loren John Rullman, formerly director of the Gengras Student Union and Konover Campus Center at the University of Hartford, Conn., has been hired as director of the University Center and campus activities.

Hetzel replaces Paul Carr, who resigned this year. Hetzel's appointment is effective Monday. He will make an annual salary of $49,500.

Rullman, who began his new job Monday, will make a salary of $47,000. He replaces Bob Beodeker, who resigned this year.

At Southeast, Hetzel will be responsible for administration, program development and supervision of the entire residence hall and dining services program, including two apartment complexes. Hetzel will be responsible for operations budgeted at $7.1 million.

Rullman's duties include directing University Center operations, the campus bookstore and textbook rentals. He also will oversee the fraternities and sororities, Student Government and other student activities. In all, the operations under Rullman's supervision total more than $2.9 million.
