Altenburg is no exception to this rule. Despite a little rain, the annual East Perry Community Fair went on.

Billed as "The Best Little Fair in the Land," the 75th annual East Perry Community Fair kicked off Sept. 23 with the traditional parade with a kiddie pedal tractor pull, an antique tractor pull and musical entertainment throughout the day.

Saturday's events included livestock judging, a horse show, musical entertainment and the popular mule jumping competition.
