Blood drives are planned Monday and Tuesday to help build the supply needed following the holiday season.

On Monday a drive will be held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson from 1:30-6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday a drive will be held at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To be eligible to give blood in Missouri potential donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be at least 17 years old and in good health. Donors should bring their driver's license.
