Robert B. "Bob" Hendrix has been named vice president at AmeriFirst Bank.
D. L. Harrison, chairmen of the AmeriFirst Bank Advisory Board, announced Hendrix's appointment.
Hendrix, a member of AmeriFirst's Advisory Board, retired in late 1993 as president of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce. His primary responsibility at AmeriFirst will be in the area of business development.
Hendrix served with the chamber here 21 years. Prior to joining the Cape Girardeau chamber, he served as director of legislative and civic affairs for the Springfield chamber; executive manager of the Hannibal chamber and manager of the Washington chamber.
"Hendrix knows the business and civic communities in Cape Girardeau," said Harrison.
