Young people interested in the program may enroll in one of five classes to be offered during June, July and August. Dates are June 17, June 23, July 22 and Aug. 15.

Designed by Southeast nurses experienced in infant and child care and emergency care, the course prepares young people for babysitting responsibilities and helps them understand the emotional needs and developmental abilities of infants, toddlers and school-age children.

Class size is limited to 30 in each session. The fee is $25 and includes lunch, a kit, badge and certificate. For more information, call 651-5833.
