SITTER TRAINING COURSES SET

St. Francis Medical Center will sponsor a pair of babysitter training courses in June at the St. Francis Information Center in Jackson.

The courses will be offered on Monday and on June 20, from 9:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. both days. The Information Center is located at 2122 East Jackson Boulevard in Jackson's Heartland Plaza, across from the Jackson Wal-Mart.

According to Kathy Casteel of the St. Francis Education Department, the class is geared for "first time" babysitters who are teen-agers or pre-teens. The course, developed by the Johnson & Johnson Co., touches on the basics of child safety, diapering, bathing, bedtime routines and emergency situations.

Registration fee is $5. Participants should also bring money for lunch. To register or for more information, call 243-5222.
