DONIPHAN -- Mark Collie will headline the ninth annual Country Music Extravaganza here July 1.

The outdoor concert, sponsored by the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce, begins at 8 p.m. with a local favorite, the Bill Barnett Band.

Thirty VIP tickets are available at $37.50 each or $75 per couple. The ticket includes VIP seating and parking, an autographed 8-by-10-inch photo of Collie and a Collie T-shirt. The tickets are available only at Mercantile Bank, P.O. Box 368, Doniphan 63935.

Regular seating tickets are being sold on a first-come basis and are $12 for adults and $8 for children 5-12. They can be obtained at the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce office, 101 Washington, Doniphan, and from many local businesses.

Tickets at the gate the night of the concert will be $15 for adults and $10 for children. Children under 5 are admitted free with an adult.

Among Collie's hit singles are "Even the Man in the Moon is Crying," "Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame," "Born to Love You" and "It is no Secret."
