JACKSON -- The University of Missouri and the Missouri Cattlemen's Association will sponsor a tour of four Cape Girardeau County cattle farms July 18, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Mike Kasten ranch near Millersville.

The tour will feature a variety of beef operations to show how cattle can fit into different farming operations, said David Lalman, MU extension beef specialist.

The auto tour is open to anyone interested in the beef business, said Lalman. It will end with a dinner at the Mike Reiminger farm near Delta. Maps and tour guides will be available at the first stop.
