Tait Phillips, a 1994 graduate of Scott City High School, has been awarded a scholarship from the First Financial Bank of Southeast Missouri. Larry Hamm, assistant vice-president of the bank's Scott City facility, recently presented Phillips with the award.
Phillips plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University. He is the son of Marge and Rennie Phillips of Scott City.

She plans to attend Southeast to major in mathematics. She is the daughter of Maria and Stanley Stepak.
