Jeff Brune of Cape Girardeau was the big winner at "Louis Night," held at the Show Me Center on Southeast Missouri State University campus this week.

Brune's paper airplane landed on the star at center court of the Show Me Center basketball floor during a paper plane flying contest to win the a trip for two to New Orleans during the night's activities, which were designed for recognition of Louis Lorimier, founder of Cape Girardeau.

The contest was conducted during the half of the Indian basketball game.

Destinations Unlimited travel agency provided the prize for Louis Night. Other winners, determined by a drawing, were:

Angie Keys, savings bond from Capital Bank; Sherri Mehner, two cases of Louis Rich Turkey; Sherri Brookover, dinner for two at Drury Lodge; William Reiker, dinner for two at Pasta House; Susan Freeman, two tickets to the Longhorn Rodeo at Sikeston; Fletcher Chasteen, dinner for two at Port Cape Restaurant; Gary Scherer, a My Daddy's Cheesecake; Joanne Peek, two cases of Louis Rich Turkey; David Danker, two nights at St. Louis Drury Inn; Don Samuel, two tickets to St. Louis Symphony; Bill Siemers, dinner for two at Broussards; Tom Benton, dinner for two at Holiday Inn; William Feezor, two cases Louis Rich Turkey; and Mildred Swaim, a gift certificate at JCPenney.
