Write Service, a computerized printing service that allows for immediate printing of almost any paper product, opened recently in Cape Girardeau.

The new business is operated by Jill Wilferth, through Children's Bazaar and Kick's Cards and Gifts at the Crossroads Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Independence and Kingshighway.

"Invitations for baby and/or bridal showers have been popular items during our first month of operation," said Wilferth. "However, the system can print a variety of items, including wedding and birth announcements, menus, place-cards, personalized stationery and more. We have a broad selection of styles and patterns."

She added that more than 200 different styles of card stock can be selected from Kick's Cards and Gifts.

Wilferth added that the Write Service offers a variation of styles.

"We have 16 different print styles and more than 100 different sizes of letters," said Wilferth. "The service also offers more than 200 additional characters that can be added to any invitation or card for more personalization.

"With this system, personalized stationery or certificates can be available within minutes," she said.
