CCHARLESTON TEEN STATE FINALIST IN COED PAGEANT

CHARLESTON -- Deidre Marie DeLaney, 19, of Charleston has been named a state finalist in the American Coed Pageant.

The Miss American Coed Pageant will be held July 2-3 in Kansas City.

DeLaney is also the reigning Teen Miss Missouri-1992 and will crown a new title~holder in May.

She is the daughter of Donna DeLaney Adams and the late Joe DeLaney.

A sophomore in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Missouri at Columbia, DeLaney is the recipient of the University of Missouri's Excellence Award and the Charleston Kiwanis club Scholarship. She has been named to the Dean's List.
