Attorney Allen Moss has opened a private practice in the Sunset Towers Building, Suite A, at 1020 N. Kingshighway.
Moss, who received his law degree in 1986 from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, has seven years experience as an attorney handling all types of civil and criminal cases.
He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Southeast Missouri State University.

Prior to entering private practice, Moss was assistant attorney general for Missouri. He previously served as assistant prosecutor for Cape Girardeau County and assistant city attorney for the city of Cape Girardeau.
An open house for the new law office is scheduled April 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Moss and his wife, Ren, reside in Jackson.
