`WORKSHOP ON WHEELS' GATHERS TONIGHT

Workshop on Wheels will present a workshop entitled "Whole Language" tonight at 7. This presentation will be held at Little Bo Peep, 500 West North, in Perryville.

Teachers and home providers will learn how to incorporate a writing center into their curriculum. Children begin to grasp the concept of reading and writing between the ages of two and six, but developmentally appropriate techniques must be used to encourage this emerging skill.

Activities and various teaching strategies will be highlighted and then illustrated with children's work by Linda Hill.

Workshop on Wheels is sponsored by the Human Environmental Studies Department at Southeast Missouri State University and the Area Licensed Providers Association.
