PHOTO OF CAPE WOMAN INCLUDED IN MAGAZINE

An article and photograph by Cape Girardeau resident Margaret Ostendorf, will appear in the May issue of "Country Extra" magazine. The national magazine is published on the months "in-between" the bimonthly issues of "Country" magazine which is available by subscription only.

The magazine is billed as one for those who "live in or long for the country" and shows the pleasures and benefits of country life, the beauty of rural America and those with interesting tales to tell.

The photo by Ostendorf was taken in the spring from her home in Cape Girardeau. It will appear in "The View From Our Place," a regular feature of the magazine. The article tells about living along the Mississippi River and the beauty of the seasons enjoyed in this area.

Ostendorf, a freelance photographer, has received various awards for her work, and is employed by the Southeast Missourian newspaper.
