ORCHESTRA MEMBERS AT CENTRAL HIGH COMPETE AT STATE

Seven members of Cape Girardeau Central High School traveled to Columbia on April 30 for the Missouri State High School Music Festival.

Those earning a superior rating were Lydia Eddy, cello; Jamie Filer, viola; Shane Keefe, bass; and Casi Krauss, violin. Those earning an excellent rating were Joanna Seres, violin; Matt Shivelbine, violin; and Casi Krauss and Jessica Wagner, violin duet.

On May 18, the High School and Junior High Orchestras will play a concert at 7:30 in the high school auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
