The Cape Girardeau chapter of the National Vocational-Technical Honor Society inducted 23 seniors during a candlelight ceremony on April 29.

Parents, area counselors and area school administrators were present to honor the students. David Blanchard, plant manager of Dana Corp. was the guest speaker.

Students honored were: Natalie Boren, Heather Case, Laura Ford, Kris Kight, Cheryl Kluesner, Emily Lewis, Denise Matlock, Gabe Mayfield, Stephanie Mclaughlin, Patty Nance, Pam Reynolds, Maggie Ryan, Mark Schmidt, and David Smith from Cape Central; Jeff Peters, Chris Macke, Amy Welker and Tina Wills from Jackson; Jason Hampton from Chaffee; Andy Elfrink from Leopold; Kim Sutton from Notre Dame; and Brandon Proffer and Jamie Pell from Scott City.
