THEY'LL BE PLENTY OF FOOD, FUN AT RIVERFEST

Food and fun there'll be plenty of it at Riverfest '93, said Concessions Chairman Dick Hill.

In addition to Riverfest "staples" like popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, hamburgers, Polish sausage, funnel cakes and taffy, this year's fest will feature egg rolls, pizza, crawfish, gumbo and tacos.

Featured in the food tent this year is a full brisket dinner. Other hearty fare at Riverfest will include Italian beef sandwiches, roasted corn and Chick-Fil-A. Barbecue enthusiasts may want to try a rib sandwich prepared by a prize-winning barbecue team from Murphysboro, Ill.

Hill also noted that in addition to the KBSI Kids' Club and standard carnival attractions, the young (and young at heart) can ride weightless on the Gyrostar and, at another attraction, check their pitching speed.
