A reception for the carvers will be held on the closing day of the exhibit, from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 1. Regular exhibit hours are 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The exhibit replaces a canceled show for former Jackson resident Ed Puls, who now lives in New York City.

That show was canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to the gallery.
