GENEALOGY WORKSHOP SCHEDULED OCT. 16

JACKSON -- A "Getting Started" genealogy workshop will be hosted by the Cape County Genealogical Society on Oct. 16 at the Riverside Regional Library in Jackson.

The session will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The $10 registration fee also includes membership to the local society.

Each participant must prepare an ancestor chart before the workshop. These will be analyzed so that direction and assistance can be given on an individual basis.

Early registration is advised so that proper preparation can be made. Registrtion is limited to 20 participants and should be sent to Mary Rasmussen, 1524 Bessie, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701.

Ancestor charts can be obtained at the Cape Girardeau Public Library or Riverside Regional Library.
