PERRYVILLE -- Mary Gosche, the Perry County human development specialist with the University of Missouri Extension Association, was honored recently as the organization's "Rookie of the Year."

Gosche is a member of the Cape Girardeau County Teen Pregnancy Task Force and she spearheaded a recent project on "work-site wellness."

She served as local coordinator for the 1992 rural health satellite conference and for the joint National Association of Counties, Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture satellite program on America's aging population and infrastructure.

Gosche joined University Extension as a field faculty member in January 1992.
