James Dufek and Tamara Baldwin, both assistant professors of mass communications at Southeast Missouri State University, conducted a survey in mid-October of 700 Cape Girardeau residents concerning the issue of riverboat gambling.

The results of the study will be discussed during the first hour of the session.
The second hour will be devoted to comments from area media representatives. Ken Newton, editor of the Southeast Missourian; Mike Beecher, news director at KFVS-TV; and Carol Keeler, news reporter at KZIM Radio, will be featured guests.
The event is open to the public. Admission is free.
