BLANCHE G. PARHAM

PERRYVILLE -- Blanche G. Parham, 85, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 28, 1908, in Perry County, daughter of Henry and Emma Hoffman Mattingly. She and Alex W. Parham were married Aug. 23, 1948.

Parham was a retired beautician. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and Ladies of Charity.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Anna Fiedler of Vinton, Iowa; two sisters, Lucille Ray and Esther Mattingly of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, two half brothers and a half sister.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, wih burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Friday, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Saturday. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Friday.
