CHAFFEE -- A program for parents of active preschool-age children will be offered Monday by the Parents as Teachers organization.

The program will be hosted by Connie Peiffer, a pediatric nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Peiffer will discuss activity levels for preschoolers and how much activity is too much.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chaffee High School arts building, 109 Fifth Street. There will be free babysitting, snacks and door prizes.

Parents as Teachers is a free program offered through the public schools in Chaffee, Delta, Kelso and Scott City. For more information, contact the Parents as Teachers office at 887-6920.
