The Cape Girardeau Duplicate Bridge Club held its annual Charity Club Championship Jan. 24.

Overall winners were first, Lucille Howard and Irene Lewis; second Peggy and Milton Sadler; third, Margaret and Dick Reed; fourth, Norma Blattner and Melva Rose Lewis; fifth, Lou Chirstoff and Tillie Campbell; and sixth, Janice Gilbert and Mary O'Neil.

The club meets on the second and fourth Fridays of each month in the Hirsch Room of the Cape Girardeau Public Library. Play begins at 7 p.m. with free bridge consultation available at 6:30 p.m.

The club is sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League, and is sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Recreation Department. It is a no smoking club. The next game is Feb. 14.
