The Scott County Assessor's office will set up temporary offices in Scott City and Chaffee on Feb. 3 to help individuals complete assessment forms.
The offices will be in the city halls of both cities and will be operating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Personnel from the assessor's office will be on hand to assist in completing assessment lists or to answer any property questions.
The state legislature has passed a statute that if assessment list are not returned by March 1, 1992, a penalty will be assessed.
