The Scott County Assessor's office will set up temporary offices in Scott City and Chaffee on Feb. 3 to help individuals complete assessment forms. The offices will be in the city halls of both cities and will be operating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Personnel from the assessor's office will be on hand to assist in completing assessment lists or to answer any property questions...

Personnel from the assessor's office will be on hand to assist in completing assessment lists or to answer any property questions.

The state legislature has passed a statute that if assessment list are not returned by March 1, 1992, a penalty will be assessed.
