Richard "Rick" L. Bowzer Jr. has joined Chateau Girardeau, 3120 Independence, as public relations director.

Bowzer, a native of St. Joseph, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with general-studies and bachelor-of-science degrees in mass communications.

He served more than 20 years in the Air Force, retiring in December. He was an air-traffic controller in the Air Force, and completed overseas tours in Turkey and England.

Bowzer, his wife, Tammya, sons, Eric and Chris, and daughter, Keisha, live in Cape Girardeau.

Elizabeth H. Chastain has been named leasing agent for Lorimont Place, a $7 million office and retail complex being developed in Cape Girardeau by Health Services Corporation of America (HSCA).

Earl H. Norman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer for HSCA, announced Chastain's appointment last week.

Chastain has extensive regional marketing experience. Previously she served as assistant general manager for the St. Clair Square, a shopping center in Fairview Heights, Ill. She also worked as assistant operations manager and marketing director for May Centers in West Park Mall here. She was an account executive and advertising specialist for KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau. She founded Sunrise Express, a breakfast pastry-delivery service that she operated in Chester, Ill., for seven years.

Chastain received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1986, majoring in business management and marketing.

She has served as a member of the Businessperson Advisory Committee at Southeast Missouri State University.

Chastain and her husband, Rick Chastain, principal at Meadow Heights High School, live in Jackson. They are parents of a daughter, Christina, 2.

HSCA, founded in 1969, is one of the nation's oldest shared-service organizations, providing purchasing needs of health-care providers. The firm's headquarters are in Cape Girardeau.

Christine McReynolds has joined Boatmen's Bank at Jackson as a real-estate and consumer-loan officer.

She has 13 years lending experience with Jackson Exchange Bank as a real estate lender.

Before starting her banking career she was a legal secretary in Omaha, Neb.

McReynolds attended Northeast Missouri State University at Kirksville.

She is a member of the Board of Realtors, Jackson MLS and Immaculate Conception Church.

McReynolds lives in Jackson.

Lynne Hillis has joined I.V. Care Inc. of Cape Girardeau as marketing director.

Hillis, a registered nurse, previously worked as medical intensive-care and cardiac-care nursing supervisor at the University of Missouri Hospital Clinic at Columbia. She also has more than six years experience in marketing and in-home care.

Hillis has degrees in nursing and sociology. She is active in professional organizations, including Missouri Nursing Association, National League of Nursing, and National Association of University Women.

She was named Missouri Outstanding Woman in 1985 and was Outstanding Female Executive of Missouri in 1990.
