PUXICO MAN RECEIVES MODERATE INJURIES IN CRASH NEAR DELTA

DELTA -- A Puxico man was injured Monday night when the vehicle he was driving ran off Highway 25, about 1 miles south of Delta.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that David Wyant, 21, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries after his car ran off the road and struck a tree at about 8:15 p.m. He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

Wyant's condition was unavailable from hospital personnel late Monday.
