Live theater once again takes the stage in Cape Girardeau May 14, when Living Arts for Students presents "Sleeping Beauty."

Show times are 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Show Me Center. The show will be presented by Theatre IV, a national award-winning drama troupe.

Theatre IV's adaptation of the Perrault classic, proudly presents the traditional fable with the original script and music of Richard Giersch and directed by John Glenn.

The show is geared to children, who will delight in the classic tale, which teaches that love, responsibility and courage are sure winners over false pride.

Tickets are $3.75 and are available at the door. Chaparons and teachers (one for every 10 students) will be admitted free. For advance tickets call 1-800-627-6307.
